What is DMBJ / Lost Tomb Week?
It is a fandom event to celebrate Nanpai Sanshu's book series, Daomu Biji 盗墓笔记 (DMBJ), and all spin-offs and adaptations of the work, e.g. The Lost Tomb and Reboot dramas, the Time Raiders movie, Sand Sea 沙海, The Mystic Nine 老九门, etc.
The event will run for 7 days, from 11 to 17 September 2020. It will be hosted on Twitter.
How do I participate?
For each day, there will be a theme / prompt and a fandom-related question. You may choose to create a fan work based on the theme / prompt, answer the question, or both!
When posting on Twitter, please tag your tweet #DMBJweek2020. Entries with the tag will be re-tweeted on the event's account.
For works posted on AO3, you can add your work to the AO3 collection. The mod will approve the addition when they see it.
If you're using other platforms (e.g. Tumblr), you may tag your work with #DMBJweek2020 or similar. Please note that the mod will not be checking these platforms for submissions.
Are there any restrictions on fan works?
All types of fan works are welcome - fic, art, videos, even 3D crafts! They can be in any language. They can be based on any part or adaptation of the DMBJ / Lost Tomb 'verse, or even a fusion of the book and dramas!
The only requirements are:
The fan work should be created for the event. It should not be a work or w.i.p. that has already been published online.
If your work contains potentially sensitive content, please tag / warn appropriately.
I can't post on the corresponding day of the theme / prompt / fandom-related question. Can I post earlier or later?
You may post your fan work or answer on the corresponding day of the theme / prompt / question in your time zone, or any later day within the event's duration.
Please do not post before the corresponding day.
